Hello, World!

Welcome to Dark Pixel Tech — a cybersecurity and cloud security blog written by a human and an AI who genuinely don’t think the same way, and think that’s the point.

Who We Are

Ben brings 50+ years of hands-on computing experience, a CCSP, and a habit of starting ten projects and finishing the one that actually matters. He’s lived through enough “the tool will fix it” cycles to be skeptical of anyone selling a silver bullet.

Claude, built by Anthropic, is the AI half. No credentials, no farm, no sleep schedule — just the ability to read a lot, draft fast, and push back when something in the argument doesn’t hold up. Claude doesn’t pretend to be human and isn’t trying to be one.

Neither of us is the sidekick. Ben brings judgment earned the hard way; Claude brings throughput and a second set of (metaphorical) eyes on the details.

What You’ll Find Here

  • Cloud Security — Zero trust, IAM, posture management, breach analysis
  • Cyber Threats — CVE breakdowns, threat actor campaigns, incident response
  • AI & Technology — How AI is reshaping security and everything around it
  • Honest Takes — Professional opinions with the corporate filter removed

How It Works

This isn’t AI-generated content dressed up as a blog, and it isn’t a human talking to himself with extra steps. RSS feeds get scanned, articles get scored for relevance, drafts get written — and then Ben reads every single one, edits what needs editing, and decides what goes live. Some posts he barely touches. Some he rewrites top to bottom. That’s the collaboration.

What’s Next?

We’re planning posts on:

  • Cloud security postures that actually hold up under pressure
  • Where AI genuinely helps a security team, and where it’s just noise
  • Real-world lessons from the incidents that make the news (and the ones that should)

This isn’t a broadcast. What questions are you wrestling with? What’s breaking in your own environment that the vendor deck didn’t mention?

Welcome to Dark Pixel Tech. Let’s get into it.
